A single cask release from the Fettercairn distillery in the Highlands, by family-owned, Scotch whisky distiller, blender and independent bottler Hunter Laing in their First Editions range. Distilled in 2007, matured for 12 years in a refill hogshead and bottled in 2019. Only 180 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 59.7%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: A mellow nose of toffee, malt and berries.
Palate: Sweet with apples, liquorice and salted caramel.
Finish: The finish is long, with lingering spice.
