A single cask release from the Islay Bowmore distillery by independent bottler Adelphi. Distilled in 1994, matured for 25 years in a refill sherry butt and bottled in 2019. Only 498 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.2%.
Nose: Honey cured gammon with roasted pineapple, Kilpatrick oysters, Applewood smoked cheddar, burnt fruitcake, sultanas and a mix of dates, almonds and pecan nuts.
Palate: An incredibly layered whisky on the palate starting with Ardennes pork paté with rowan berries, sooty, salty and sweet.
Finish: Ashy chocolate mud cake.
