Launched in 2019, a limited-edition release from the Bladnoch distillery in the Lowlands. First filled into ex-bourbon barrels in 2001 and then disgorged and re-filled into ex-California red wine casks over two processes in March 2016 and January 2017. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46.7%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Rich red cherries, subtle oak spices with sweet cinnamon.

Palate: Deep dark cherries with gingerbread, dried fruits and warming cinnamon.

Finish: Medium to long, with slight dryness and hints of pepper.
