As patron of the Robert Burns World Federation, the Isle of Arran distillery created the Robert Burns single malt as a tribute to Scotland’s most famous poet. Matured mainly in American oak ex-bourbon casks and a smaller proportion in ex-sherry hogsheads. Naturally coloured and bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Sweet and creamy with notes of honey, toffee-glazed pecans and fresh summer fruits.
Palate: A combination of rich malt and lush vanilla notes forms a refreshing and smooth palate. Light and sweet at first followed by tantalising spice and oak.
Finish: Clean and fresh with an aftertaste of hazelnuts and milk chocolate.
