DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Arran distillery on the Isle of Arran, bottled by Adelphi independent bottler. With the establishment of Arran's sister distillery Lagg, the original Arran distillery is being referred to as Lochranza, the town where the distillery is situated. This release was distilled in 2014, matured for 11 years in a refill Oloroso sherry hogshead, and bottled in 2025. Only 318 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 57.6%.

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Butter scotch, lavender, Turkish delight, black current leaf, minty black currant, After Eight chocolates, pencil shavings and fig marmalade. 

Palate: Ginger beer, brown sugar cubes, Danish plum, brandy butter and eucalyptus and Tarragon.  

Finish: Well balanced, good sherry profile with a medium length finish.
