Villiera Jasmine 2022 is produced from a blend of 45% Moscat Ottonel, 28% Gewurztraminer and 27% Riesling grape varietals. Muscat, Riesling and Gewurztraminer were picked slightly earlier than usual to retain freshness and ensure a lighter style. Healthy fruit was hand-picked and delivered in the morning while cool. in the cellar The grapes were crushed and destalked before 6 hours of skin contact. Gentle pressing followed and the juice was settled overnight. Cold fermentation ensured the retention of fruit and after blending and stabilisation. Residual sugar: 14.7g/l. Bottled at 11.5%. Nose: Very floral, jasmine and orange blossom with hints of apricot and lychee.

Palate: Tropical and fruit forward, lots of peach, lychee and pineapple. Has a subtle sweetness on entry, lovely elegant and light body on the mid-palate.

Finish: Refreshing acidity with a flinty minerality. Lingering notes of honeycomb and jasmine.
