A small batch release from the Arran distillery on the Islands. Matured for 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels, finished for 4 years in ex-rum barrels and bottled in 2022 exclusively for Le Comptoir Irlandais department stores in France. 1,098 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 50%.

Nose: Fresh fruit salad (classic Arran nose of apple pears but also banana and pineapple); caramel, vanilla and star anise.

Palate: Retains fruitiness, becoming more tropical (papaya); a slightly spicy mid-palate with cloves and black peppercorn.

Finish: Long and well-rounded finish. The combination of flavours is a nice reflection of the rum casks used.
