2001 The Resurrection Dram was Bruichladdich’s first official bottling after independent bottler Murray McDavid bought and completely renovated the distillery. Crafted by Master Distiller Jim McEwan using a mild 10ppm peated barley, distilled in 2001, matured for 7 years in ex-bourbon casks and bottled in 2008. 24,000 bottles were produced, each individually numbered. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%.
