A Solera rum made from the fermentation of virgin sugarcane honey distilled partly in copper alembic and partly in steel continuous column. Diluted to bottling strength with demineralised water which is added in drops over a period of 28 days. Matured in refill oak barrels for between 14 and 24 years, with an average age of 20 years. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Big on the nose with soft caramel, vanilla, smoky honey, toffee, dry seeds, roasted coffee and a rich rounded oak sensation.

Palate: In the mouth, it is very soft and round, yet big and full flavoured, with caramel, vanilla, cocoa and roasted honey – a strong and rare texture.

Finish: Great finish.

Produced in Colombia on the Caribbean coast at Cartagena de Indias City, Dictador is a family-owned company run by Hernan Parra Arango, the third generation and Dictador Master Blender.
