Scavi & Ray Ice Prestige Demi-Sec Spumante is an Italian sparkling white wine produced from a mix of the highest-quality white grapes – 60% Glera and 40% Verduzzo. It is produced in the traditional charmant method. Grapes are sourced from farmers in Veneto, in the North of Italy. After picking and sorting, grapes are pressed softly and juice is allowed to settle and ferment in stainless steel tanks. After this initial alcoholic fermentation, the sugar and yeast are added and the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in a sealed stainless steel tank. Before bottling a blend of base wine and sugar is added to balance the acidity and to give the prosecco better palate weight and flavour. Residual sugar content is 37g/l. Bottled at 10.5%. Nose: The meticulously selected mixture of grape varieties unlocks a fruity aromatic character with notes of pear, apple and citrus with floral nuances on the nose.

Palate: Soft and elegant entry delivering lovely juicy fruit sweetness on entry with notes of peach, pear and apple shining through.

Finish: Refreshing, thanks to well balanced acidity and soft perlage.
