Grapes for the Cape Point Noordhoek Sauvignon Blanc 2022 are hand-selected in the vineyard, from parcels that best display the uniqueness of the Noordhoek terroir. Blocks in the valley that enjoy longer hours of sunlight give the wine fruity elements, while grapes with herbaceous tones from the very top blocks that fall in the shadow of the the Chapman’s Peak Mountain Range for most of the day, are selected for balance. Grapes are gently pressed in whole bunches. Winemaker, Riandri Visser, works in an oxidative manner, making use of natural yeasts and sometimes spontaneous fermentation. The wine is kept on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for 8 months. Bottled at 13%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: The ocean seems to dance in your glass, notes of nori and oyster shell as well as a fresh misty sea breeze that takes you right onto the beautiful Noordhoek beach.

Palate: The palate shows elegant layers of fruit with a steely minerality finished off by Cape Point Vineyards iconic naturally fresh and vibrant acidity.

Finish: A long lingering finish.
