An interesting blended Japanese whisky from Nikka made with malt whisky from Yoichi and a combination of malt and grain whisky from Miyagikyo. The grain whisky from Miyagikyo is actually produced using malted barley but distilled on their coffey stills, which provides a richer component for their blends.

Nose: Vanilla, cream and a light dash of cocoa.

Palate: Oily, malty and rich mouth-feel with a bit of orange zest and over-ripe apple.

Finish: Medium and soft.
