Inspired by the tales of the mythical Silkie seals that came ashore as beautiful sea maidens and charmed local men, this Irish blended whiskey is from the planned Sliabh Liag Distillery in Donegal - builders and owners of the new Ardara Irish distillery. Made with a combination of double and triple-distilled single malts, grain whiskey and a hint of peated malt. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Fresh and malty, brisk like green apples, opens to be more honeyed with a gentle butteriness.

Palate: Soft, honey to the fore, bright, hints of orange zest, digestive biscuits, brioche, butterscotch and stem ginger.

Finish: Warming, elegant and gently melts away.
