Hartenberg Wine Estate

With a long history dating back to 1692, Hartenberg's current chapter began when current owners the Mackenzies purchased it in 1987. Their philosophy has always been to "leave Hartenberg in a better condition than when they started", and so they are heavily invested in farming and producing wine sustainably. The farm is nestled in a valley in the Bottelary Hills in Stellenbosch with a team that includes Cellar Master Carl Schultz, winemaker Patrick Mgamane, assistant winemaker Oscar Robyn and viticulturist Wilhem Joubert.
