Primal Spirits is a small-batch distillery based at Victoria Yards, an urban regeneration project in Johannesburg. One of a few distilleries who make their own neutral spirit from scratch using sustainably grown hard red wheat and bedrock water from the Magaliesberg. Union Gin is named after one of its key ingredients, the rare and unique Rex Union orange, of which there are said to be only 300 trees in the world. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 500ml)

Nose: Orange blossom, kumquat marmalade.

Palate: Balanced sweet-sour citrus, pink pepper, pomegranate, light juniper.

Finish: Subtle summery orange.
