Die Mas Ver in Die Ou Kalahari Brandy is produced from selected Chenin Blanc grapes and double distilled over open flames in a copper potstill, aptly named "Kalahari Koos".  Aged in small French oak barrels for a minimum of 5 years in an underground cellar. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Careful blending results in complex dried apricot and citrus aromas.

Palate: Subtle raisin, oak, vanilla and honey flavours.

Finish: A smooth lingering aftertaste of fruit.

Die Mas is a tranquil destination on the Orange River bank in the town Kakamas, a mere 80km from Upington in the Northern Cape. The region boasts unique climatic conditions, where the waters of the powerful Orange River and the clear African skies bring life to the rich soil of the semi-desert region. This is where the main crops of grapes are grown. Die Mas Family Farm was established by the Hanekom Family in 1970 and has since grown to a much bigger business that includes a combination of export table grapes, raisins and award-winning wines and brandies.
