Every year Woodford Reserve release a special, and sometimes experimental, whiskey release in their Master's Collection range. This Classic Malt is part of the 2013 release, made with 100% malted barley and matured in used bourbon barrels (whereas the Straight Malt released the same year was matured in new oak barrels). Bottled at 45.2%.

Nose: Hay, honey and vanilla, with peaches and pears but mostly sweet cereals.

Palate: Sweet, almost cane sugar like with vanilla, stewed fruits and some berries. Quiet spirituous with dusty grains and Frosties.

Finish: A bit short with a strange synthetic edge to it.
