The inaugural release from Wolfburn distillery, the northernmost distillery on mainland Scotland. Only 875 bottles were produced, of which 50 were available in SA. For this limited edition, distillery manager Shane Fraser used a longer fermentation time of 90 hours for more floral notes, and an even slower distillation of five hours, instead of their standard four. Bottled at 46%.
Nose: Sweet vanilla custard tart, topped with lemon zest.
Palate: Delicate, you would never guess this is only 3 years old! Beautiful mouth feel very oily with plenty of citrus.
Finish: Medium in length with a touch of spice, hints of tobacco and slightly dry.
