Produced from a very old, protein-rich maize (70%), 15% malted barley and 15% rye, this bottling was distilled at 218 Conover street in Brooklyn, at the Widow Jane distillery headquarters, four years ago. With incredible depth and complexity and a very strong personality, it is full of all the mysteries that characterize any great bourbon. Moments of pure poetry, the presence with which the aromatic palette climbs ever higher and the sumptuous cameo of autumnal flavours offered on the palate are a perfect example.
Profile: the intense initial nose is above all characterized by a note of varnish and abundant fruits (Mirabelle plum, redcurrant, stewed apple). It develops into a very distinguished woody register, before becoming exotic (mango). The palate is both chocolatey and fruity. From autumnal colours to honeyed notes, it becomes increasingly generous (chestnut soup).
