Originally a sake producer, White Oak was the first distillery in Japan to obtain a whisky license in 1919, however, have only been making whisky in more recent years. Matured in three different types of casks: Spanish sherry oak, American oak and ex-bourbon casks. Nonchillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. (500ml)

Nose: Sweet, light iodine and clove.

Taste: Pleasant bitterness, full-bodied depth with spice, peat-like character and a hint of aniseed and candied ginger.

Finish: Light smokiness with some tannin.
