Valdo Ice Blanc De Blancs is made from a cuvèe of predominantly Glera and Garganega. Harvest begins in September when the desired ripeness has been achieved. Grapes are collected and pressed gently to get the best quality juice. The juice is then inoculated to begin the first fermentation and create the base wine. Once complete the base wine is transferred to stainless steel tanks for the secondary fermentation known as the Martinotti-Charmat method. In a pressurised vat (stainless steel tank), sugar and yeast are added to kick off this second fermentation. After 3 months the prosecco is bottled and allowed to further mature for at least 2 months in bottle before being released. Bottled at 11%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: An intense, fruity nose with nuances ranging from apple to apricot and mixed fruit salad.

Palate: A persistent and rounded palate. Lovely notes of apples and pear.

Finish: A pleasant and sweet finish, with notes of ripe nectarines and honey.
