A limited release, triple-distilled single malt whisky from Tullamore DEW, released in mid-2016. Matured in ex-bourbon casks for 13.5 years before being divided across four different casks ("old" Bourbon, Oloroso sherry, port and Madeira barrels) for finishing for 6 months. Bottled at 43%.
Nose: Lots of fresh and tropical fruits in the form of apples, peaches and pineapple, along with some citrus and soft cinnamon and ginger spices.
Palate: The fruitiness continues accompanied by notes of vanilla, honey and caramel, while the soft spices persists.
Finish: An ending of citrus, syrup, nutmeg and pinch of pepper.
