Grapes for the Trizanne Signature Wines Syrah 2021 were hand-picked from 15 to 25 year old dryland vines on Swartland schist and shale soils. Harvesting took place from the middle of February to end of February. 100% destemmed and naturally fermented in open top fermenters. Barrel maturation in 500-litre French oak barrels for 10 months. Bottled at 13.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Wonderfully perfumed with hints of red and dark fruits, pepper and earthiness.

Palate: Medium-bodied on the palate with primary fruit expression beautifully balanced by fine tannin and subtle acid giving freshness and lifting the wine. The earthy and spicy notes give texture and depth to the palate.

Finish: A savoury and satisfying finish.
