Since its acquisition in 2017, the team has transformed what was once a little-known distillery producing primarily for blends into one of Scotch whisky’s most prominent modern single malts. Production was deliberately reduced from four million to one million litres annually to prioritise spirit quality, allowing for a lengthy 160-hour fermentation and meticulous wood management, with a particular leaning towards sherry-cask maturation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePresented by \u003cstrong\u003eRONAN CURRIE, Master Distiller and Assistant Blender at GlenAllachie\u003c\/strong\u003e, this masterclass offers the opportunity to taste alongside a key member of the distillery’s whisky-making team.
