Each cask is assessed by the Society’s independent Tasting Panel, which develops the detailed tasting notes, flavour profiles and evocative names that have become central to the SMWS experience. This masterclass will explore a specially selected line-up of Society bottlings, offering insight into the casks, flavours and stories behind each release.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePresented by \u003cstrong\u003eOLAF MEIER, Chairman of the SMWS Tasting Panel \u003c\/strong\u003eand Keeper of the Quaich, the masterclass offers a rare opportunity to taste alongside one of the Society’s most experienced whisky authorities. Olaf plays a central role in assessing and approving casks for release and is also the longest-standing SMWS member outside the UK.
