A single cask release from the Talisker distillery, by family-owned, Scotch whisky distiller, blender and independent bottler Hunter Laing in their First Editions range. Distilled in 2010, matured for 10 years in a sherry butt and bottled in 2021. Only 350 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.6%.
Nose: Smoke, fresh herbs and salted caramel.
Palate: Notes of peat, boiled sweets, and mint.
Finish: The finish is long, with lingering smoke.
