First released in 2011, the cask strength release is produced in batches. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and first fill Olorosso sherry casks. Bottled at a cask strength at 59.9%.
Nose: Rich vanilla biscuit and roasted spices with mocha, apple and tropical fruits.
Palate: Robust, fresh and crisp with a rich mouth-feel. Tropical fruits, exotic spice and vanilla. Very complex, becoming spicier with time. Less sherry influence than the standard bottling and a more powerful round the edges.
Finish: Long and glorious.
