Made from two schist vineyards around the Riebeeks Rivier and the Kasteelberg regions in the Swartland. The Ava is a tiny selection of Syrah on the most extreme and low yielding sites. Fermented 100% whole-bunch and matured in old oak. A total of 1,440 bottles were produced. Bottled at 12.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)
