A single malt from the Miyagikyo distillery (owned by Nikka). Although this no-age-statement was once a standard release in SA it has become near impossible to find over the last few years. Bottled at 43%.

Nose: Refined and rich with lots of delicate floral notes and tobacco along with soft spices, leather, beeswax and citrus fruit.

Palate: Cocoa powder, almonds and cashew nuts dominate at first but then move to a peppery spice with a mineral and incense character along with ripe plum and pear.

Finish: Long with dried grass, mango, continued floral notes and a nuttiness.
