Grapes are sourced from a selection of unique Chardonnay vineyards reflecting winemaker, Matthew van Heerden's specific goal to showcase South Africa’s exceptional world class Chardonnay terroir. Predominantly decomposed granite and shale with cool climate terroir. Grapes are harvested from February until March depending on flavour expression and development in the vineyards. with an average yield of 4 to 5 tons/ha. A natural winemaking approach is followed, whole-bunch pressing, the usage of wild yeasts and fermentation in barrel with further ageing. The wine is allowed to settle on the lees for added complexity. A limited production of 12 barrels. Bottled at 13%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Pronounced floral notes, in particular orange blossom. Whiff of baked goods like croissants.

Palate: Fruit forward entry with notes of oranges and peaches. Mid-palate revealed its creamy texture with notes of lemon butter singing through.

Finish: Refreshing minerality keeps the wine focused. Leaving you slightly salivating, eager for the next sip.
