Cosmo from Mars Maltage is a blended malt that includes whisky from Mars Shinshu in Japan. A big hit when released at the 2015 Tokyo International Bar Show, this is a permanent addition to the fledgling distillery's range. Bottled at 43%.

Nose: Soft vanilla and sweet pastry, with cigar tobacco, wood char and some tropical pineapple.

Taste: Creamy with sweet malt, caramel and cinnamon and pepper. The lovely tobacco continues (not smoke but raw tobacco).

Finish: Hints of fennel, but mainly sweetness and finally a whisper of smoke.
