Grapes for this Malbec were harvested in early March 2019 and were cold soaked for 24 hours to stabilise them before fermentation. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks and was allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation, which took approximately 8 days at 25°C and was then left for 7 days with the skins on. Matured for 15 months in French oak casks (20% new). Bottled at 14%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Intense dark berry aromas of plums and blackberries.
Palate: Good fruit on entry. Medium bodied and well balanced with notes of berry fruits complemented by soft tannins.
Finish: Elegant and well balanced. Lingering notes of sweet spice and mulberries.
