The core expression in the Mackmyra range, matured predominantly in first-fill bourbon barrels with a small portion of ex-sherry and Swedish oak casks too. A small percentage of the malt is lightly peated. Bottled at 41.4%
Nose: Fresh citrus with pear drops and crispy green apples.
Palate: Delicate spiciness with toffee, aniseed, ginger, sweet almonds and marzipan.
Finish: Fresh, clean with a bit of pepper and a faint whiff of smoke.
