A single cask release from the Macallan distillery in Speyside, bottled by independent bottler Gordon & Macphail (G&M) as part of their Speymalt range. Distilled in 2001, matured in sherry oak casks ordered specifically for this range of whiskies, and bottled in 2020. Only 215 bottles were produced. Bottled at a cask strength of 51.1%.
Nose: Sherry aromas with sweet spices and a hint of beeswax polish.
Palate: Orange peel and smooth milk chocolate covered raisins with roasted hazelnuts.
Finish: A long, sweet and fruity finish.
