A very interesting (and great tasting) single grain whisky by independent bottler and blender That Boutique-y Whisky Company (TBWC). This 19yo from Loch Lomond is their 3rd batch from the Highland distillery, with only 267 bottles released. Bottled at 49.7%. (500ml)
Nose: Big waves of vanilla ice cream and coffee liqueur. A hint of chocolate, too.
Palate: Honey'd cereals, red apples, hazelnuts and salted butter. Chocolate sponge cake and hot custard.
Finish: Dried fruits, dusted with nutmeg and brown sugar.
