A single cask release from independent bottler Hunter Laing's Kill Devil (an old fashioned term for rum) range of rums. Distilled in January 1999 at the Sancti Spiritus distillery in Cuba and matured for 18 years. Only 150 bottles were produced. Bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Aged balsamic vinegar with cedar wood blocks and baked agave.
Palate: Sweet initially light warming up with clean spice and wood notes that linger.
Finish: Long mild notes like a well aged tequila rather than rum.
