Sanaig, named after a rocky inlet northwest of the Kilchoman distillery, is part of the core range along with Machir Bay. This release is matured in a combination of ex-Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at 46%.
Nose: Soft cooked fruits with caramel and vanilla.
Palate: Toffee, peat smoke and citrus with lingering sweetness.
Finish: A lovely balance of peat smoke, fruit and sweetness.
