Loch Gorm has been a feature of the Kilchoman core range since its release in 2012 and is the only whisky in the Kilchoman range to be fully-matured in ex-sherry casks. The 2019 release has been aged in 20 Oloroso sherry butts from 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011, meaning that for the first time Loch Gorm will contain 12 and 13 year old casks. A total of 15,000 bottles were produced. Bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Smouldering seaweed with waves of stewed berries, orange peel and citrus sweetness.
Palate: Rich sherry, dark fruit and brown sugar give way to citrus, soft peat smoke, fruitcake and oak spice.
