A single malt by independent bottler and blender That Boutique-y Whisky Company (TBWC). This 19yo from the now closed Japanese Karuizawa distillery is their 3rd batch. Only 194 bottles were produced. Bottled at 50.1%. (Bottle size 500ml)

Nose: Complex nose with an initial warmth and creamy notes - there’s cocoa and oak, a pinch of spice and grapes, blackcurrant and raspberries.

Palate: A fizz of spice that leaves the tongue tingling, with liquorice and caramel coming through. There’s autumnal stewed fruits and a jammy fruitiness.

Finish: There’s a dry salinity with lingering sweet hints - plums, raisins and a sprinkling of brown sugar.
