Handcrafted by a family whose lifeblood is wine, the Steytler Range is the culmination of the estate’s best wines in only exceptional vintages, and with this wine, they pay homage to George Steytler who farmed Kaapzicht for 33 years. Harvested from vines planted in weathered granite topsoil on a layer of gravel, above a crumbly clay sub-soil with a yield of 5 tons per hectare. Matured in 300-litre French oak barrels for 20 months, 80% new, 20% second fill, personally selected by the winemaker and then blended together. 5,530 bottles were produced. Bottled at 14.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)
