A single malt whisky by independent bottler and blender That Boutique-y Whisky Company (TBWC). This 14yo Irish Single Malt #2 is their 1st batch from an undisclosed Irish producer, with only 357 bottles produced. (500ml)
The label depicts Aeneas Coffey, inventor of the Coffey still being told to "jog on" by his native Irishmen. Ireland was the only country not to adopt use of Coffey stills, being understandably quite attached to the traditional pot still method.
Nose: Hazelnut, buttered popcorn, a touch of menthol.
Palate: Fruitier than the nose suggests, with yellow plum, sultana and melon developing.
Finish: Malty and subtly drying.
