Our 11th exclusive WhiskyBrother release is here, and we couldn't be more excited! An official Highland Park single cask, distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2016 exclusively for us. Matured in a single refill sherry butt that yielded only 552 bottles. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at cask strength of 60.4%.
Nose: Maraschino cherries, milk chocolate with orange pieces, bread pudding with stewed apple and raisins, charred oak and subtle wood smoke.
Palate: Thick and mouth-coating with citrus zest, soft vanilla sweetness, intense oak spice and whispers of fragrant peat.
Finish: Powerful and long with spice, ginger and nutmeg. Soft cocoa bitterness at the very end with the ever-present and understated peat lingering throughout.
