The Japanese Harmony Master's Select is a limited edition of the standard Harmony release for travel retail. It is said to be more complex and richer with additional sherry cask influence. The blend contains malt and grain whiskies from the Suntory distilleries, with the malt coming from Yamazaki and Hakushu and the grain from Chita. The name Hibiki means harmony in Japanese. Bottled at 43%.
Nose: Plums in syrup, roses and a sweet woodiness.
Palate: Orange marmalade with dark chocolate and a slight oak bitterness.
Finish: Lingering sweetness balanced with a soft acidity, spices and wood.
