A long discontinued single grain Irish whisky produced at the Cooley distillery. This limited release was truly small batch, with only 4,000 bottles produced. At the time it was the oldest single grain Irish whiskey released, and as far as we know it still is. Matured in American oak, ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46%.
Nose: Soft sweetcorn accompanied by a burst of zesty orange and citrus lemon.
Palate: Sweet butterscotch toffee with rich creamy vanilla.
Finish: Sweetness lingers on the tongue making way to smooth fresh oak.
