A single cask release from the Glenrothes distillery in Speyside, by independent bottler Adelphi. Distilled in 2009, matured for 10 years in a refill Oloroso sherry butt and bottled in 2020. Only 508 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at a natural cask strength of 65.5%.
Nose: Walls chocolate ice-cream with vanilla sponge cake, milk chocolate digestives and fresh feijoas.
Palate: Salted caramel truffles, Black Forest Gateaux and a slightly meaty finish.
Finish: Long and leaves the tongue tingling.
