Released for travel retail in 2017, Glenmorangie 19yo Finest Reserve was aged in slow-growth American white oak ex-bourbon casks for almost two decades. It was chosen in part by Brendan McCarron, Glenmorangie’s Head of Maturing Whisky Stocks, who worked with Dr Bill Lumsden to select the barrels. Bottled at 43%.

Nose: Fresh, clean and zesty aromas of mint, eucalyptus and hints of sugar cane, are woven with candy, peaches and vanilla.

Taste: A smooth and creamy texture brings with it the subtle sweetness of apple, apricot and tangy oranges, alongside toffee, butter candy and menthol.

Finish: Mint toffee mingles with oak tannins and the lingering suggestion of bittersweet citrus fruit.
