Introduced to the Glenglassaugh core range in 2013, the 40 year old single malt from the distillery in Portsoy is specially selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker and exemplifies the tremendous characteristics of well-aged Highland whisky.
Nose: Ripe banana, pineapple and the first whiff of Oloroso sherry.
Palate: Thick and syrupy. Oloroso sherry, crystallised ginger and toffee-dipped raisins. Hints of cocoa and cinnamon.
Finish: Drying and rich with sherry spice.
