A single cask release from the Speyside Glenburgie distillery by family-owned, Scotch whisky distiller, blender and independent bottler Hunter Laing under their First Editions range. Distilled in 1999, matured for 20 years in an ex-bourbon barrel and bottled in 2020. Only 276 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 58.6%.
Nose: Gentle smoke, pepper and caramel.
Palate: Rich and full with peat, milk chocolate and soft fruits.
Finish: Long, with lingering peat and pepper.
