Replacing the tall round bottle from the 1990s, this 12yo in the square dumpy bottle was first released in 2002, once the distillery changed ownership from John Dewar & Sons to Diageo. It subsequently has also been discontinued, as Glen Ord is now marketed in The Singleton range. Matured (at least partially) in ex-sherry casks. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Soft, sweet maltiness with a spicy, peat-soaked dryness.

Palate: Rich and rounded with sherry notes decipherable.

Finish: Lingering with sherry spice and drying ginger.
