A three-grain bourbon from Chicago's FEW distillery. Made by blending 70% corn, 20% rye and 10% malt, and fermented with a special, peppery yeast normally used for Saison beer, FEW is hand-crafted through a small-batch process in charred oak barrels to age its bourbon whiskey. The bottle label shows off some local heritage, depicting a scene from the Chicago World’s Fair of 1892. Bottled at 46.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Cinnamon and clove on the nose are backed up by corn sweetness and oak.
Palate: The body is rich, with the sweetness and spice paired nicely.
Finish: A different take on bourbon with aggressive spice and a hint of drying astringency.
